2025 Competitor Entries OPEN SOON!
As we enter our 34th year of the Noosa Festival of Surfing, we are pleased to advise anyone wanting to enter that registrations will be open on Thursday 14th November with a 10% discount valid until the end of November (Saturday 30th November 11:59 AEST).
There are some exciting new additions to next year’s Festival divisions including:
- O45 Women
- Old Mal Masters (O55 mixed)
We are also very close to bringing back a Longboard Qualifying Series event in collaboration with the WSL. More details will be announced on this very soon.
Those wishing to enter the Festival in 2025 are encouraged to do so as soon as possible to avoid disappointment in missing out. As always, our 10% discount will apply for 2 weeks and after that you will be forced to pay full price.
The following divisions and available slots will be as follows:
- U15 boys (12 spots)
- U15 girls (12 spots)
- U18 boys (18 spots)
- U18 girls (12 spots)
- O35 women (10 spots)
- O45 women (10 spots)
- O55 women (10 spots)
- O40 Men (18 spots)
- O50 Men (12 spots)
- O55 Men (12 spots)
- O60 Men (18 spots)
- O65 Men (18 spots)
- O70 Men (18 spots)
- O75 Men (6 spots)
- Mens Logger (72 spots) *prize money
- Womens Logger (36 spots) *prize money
- HP Men (18 spots) *prize money
- HP Women (12 spots) *prize money
- Old Mal (mixed) *prize money
- Noserider (24 – by invitation only) *prize money
- Mens Twin Fin (24 spots)
- Womens Twin Fin (12 spots)
- Team Challenge (10 spots) *Teams of 4 surfers
- Family Challenge (10 spots) *Teams of 2 surfers
Entries are likely to close around the end of February, with Live Heats draws finalised about 1 week prior to the competition.
The schedule will look a little like this:
- Sat 15th & Sun 16th March: Juniors, Team Challenge & Surfing Dogs (All Junior Finals on Sunday followed by presentations).
- Mon 17th – Wed 19th March: Over Age divisions
- Thur 20th – Sun 23rd March: Prize money/Pro divisions including all Finals on Sunday.
Those wishing to enter the LQS (WSL) event are encouraged to join the pre-registration list via Humanitix when entries become available on the 14th November. From here, you will be notified of when you can enter the LQS division via the WSL registration portal. Please note: Entering the Festival and the WSL events are two completely seperate portals.
