Allpress Espresso Family Challenge

The Family Challenge is a chance for teams of 2 family members to battle it out with fellow families.

A parent paired with a son or daughter is the obvious pair. Unfortunately brothers or sisters cannot compete with each other. There has to be a generational gap between the pair.

Anyway, enough with the formalities. The family challenge is an exciting and fun novelty of the festival. But every novelty has its competitive edge and over the years we have seen paddle battles and beach sprints on par with what you would witness at a professional team event.

Needless to say, although these surfers aren’t surfing for pink slips, there’s no love loss when they hit the First Point lineup together.
